Requirements for a Syrian Visa Application
- A passport must be valid for six months on submission and have at least two blank pages and should not bear any Israeli stamps
- Letter from the employer on headed notepaper
- 2 colour passport photographs
- 2 Syrian visa forms (per person) to be completed and signed
- For postal applications, a registered or recorded self-addressed envelope with exact postage must be enclosed
Notes
- Visas are valid from the date of issue
- To process a visa, allow two working days for an online applications and five working days for a non-online applications
- The Consular Section is not obliged to give any explanation for not issuing a visa
- Passport holder of the following countries do not require a Syrian visa:
Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Tunisia, UAE and Yemen
Syrian Visa Fees
Visa fees vary depending on Nationality
Visa fees for British passport holder:
32 GBP single-entry - validity three months.
50 GBP multiple-entry - validity six months.
Payment of fees
Cash only for personal applicants.
Postal orders, payable to the Syrian Embassy, for applications by post.

INSUFFICIENT OR INCORRECT DOCUMENTATION MAY RESULT IN DELAYS OR REJECTION OF A VISA APPLICATION.
