Tour booking terms and conditions.

All tailor-made tours are operated by Arab Tours Limited, 60 Marylebone Lane, London W1U 2NZ, and are sold subject to the following booking conditions.

  1. To make a booking, first telephone Arab Tours to check availability as places are limited on these tours.
  2. Fill in the booking form, sign it and send it together with deposit and insurance premiums if applicable to Arab Tours. Cheques should be made payable to Arab Tours Limited.
  3. A confirmation will be made in writing upon receipt of your booking forms and deposit.
  4. If you book 8 weeks or less from the date of departure, the full cost of the tour is payable at the time of booking.
  5. Cancellations by you.
    • In any case of cancellation, your deposit will be forfeited.
    • Where cancellations occur more than 4 weeks before departure, 50% refund will be made.
    • If you cancel your tour 4 weeks or less from the date of departure, no refund will be made.
    • If you cancel your tour due to change of aircraft type and /or the use of another airline, no refund will be made.
    • It is strongly recommended that clients take out cancellation insurance.
  6. Arab Tours will not cancel your tour unless
    • We are forced to do so by exceptional circumstances beyond our control which constitute a Force Majeure. Force Majeure is war, threat of war, riot, civil strike, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, changes to or cancellation of scheduled airlines, technical breakdown of transport or any other similar events which are beyond the control of the company.
    • The minimum number of bookings needed to operate this tour has not been reached. In the latter case, the company will advise you of cancellation no later than 4 weeks before departure date. Under these circumstances a full refund will be given.
  7. 7. Insurance
    • It is a condition of accepting you booking that you have adequate insurance cover.
    • We can arrange cover for you, but if you already have insurance cover or you prefer to arrange you own, we will require a photocopy of your policy. It is important to check that your policy is valid for travel to Portugal and includes sufficient cover to enable repatriation, including air ambulance, in case of a medical emergency.
    • Any claims concerning matters for which you are insured must be directed to your insurer.
  8. We will make every effort to carry out the published itinerary, but Arab Tours will not be liable for any delays or changes caused by situations beyond our control, such as airline delays or cancellations, mechanical breakdown or weather conditions which may cause us to revise our itinerary.
  9. On a tour of these types it is important to abide by the authority of the tour leader. It is also important for the client to respect the local customs and laws and not to act in a way that would be detrimental to the safety and welfare of the group.
  10. Complaints
    • These should be made on the spot.
    • Our tour leaders will do everything possible to solve any problems that arise.
    • Any complaint not resolved should be made in writing no later than 4 weeks after the completion of the tour.

Flight booking terms and conditions.

  1. All Fares subject to change without prior notice
  2. All Fares include service charges and first class post
  3. We are not responsible for the loss or damage to tickets in the post. Alternatively we can send tickets by Special Delivery at an additional cost of £5.
